30 November – A Safe Journey With Her to End Digital Violence 

1. Overview 

“A Safe Journey With Her to End Digital Violence” is a family-friendly community event held at Benjakitti Park and the Thai–Belgian Bridge on 30 November 2025 as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

Organised by the Embassy of Belgium with Benelux partners in partnership with UN Women, UNFPA and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the event features a symbolic family ride, a Children’s Play Street inspired by Belgium’s Speelstraat model, digital-safety games and a selfie pledge wall.

The programme raised awareness about Ending Digital Violence against all Women and Girls through hands-on activities for children, teenagers, parents and caregivers.

Route:
Benjakitti Park Forest Park Museum → Green Bridge → Lumpini Park → Thai–Belgian Bridge → Green Bridge -> return to Benjakitti Park Forest Park Museum
Total distance: approx. 4.5 km

 Exact route subject to safety and traffic coordination with BMA.

4. Family Activities List

Children’s Play Street (Speelstraat-inspired)

• Emoji-based good/bad online behaviour recognition

• Throw a ball with a smiley emoji to the tins with bad emoji faces 

• Chalk drawing

• Prices : good emoji and quote stickers for phones
  
  

Emoji Selfie & Pledge Wall

Families choose a positive emoji, make a pledge such as:

• “I will support a friend experiencing online harm”

• “I will pause before I post”

• “I will speak up against online bullying”

Bike Parcours

Small obstacle route for children to practise safe riding skills by following good emojis to follow their parcours and avoid bad emojis.

Forest Park Museum Picnic Zone

Open space for families to rest, picnic and enjoy child-friendly activities.
