State Wildlife Commission

The State Wildlife Commission (SWC) is a full service law enforcement agency tasked with the duty of patrolling city, state, and national parks, wilderness areas, deserts, beaches, waterways, lakes, forests and their surrounding areas for the purpose of law enforcement, environmental protection and conservation, maritime and coastline protection, vessel safety inspection enforcement, animal control, and search & rescue. 

Officers may leave their jurisdiction to refuel, travel to and from a police station, transport a suspect, travel to another jurisdiction, or to respond to a priority mutual aid request. Officers shall be logged into the "clock-in" system and may use the main police frequency, or another channel, at their discretion. In the event of a SWC officer requiring backup, engaging in a pursuit, or performing law enforcement duties beyond the general area of their jurisdiction, they are required to utilize the general main police frequency. 

Jurisdiction includes, but is not limited to: Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, Paleto State Forest, Grand Senora Desert, Raton Canyon, Canyons, Trails, Hills North of Vinewood, The Vinewood Sign and surrounding area, Tataviam Mountains, Vespucci Beach & Pier, Paleto Bay Beach, Alamo Sea and surrounding beachs, Other State or Municipal Parks & Hunting Grounds.

Vehicles

Truck (m19f150)
Use SWC livery, license plate must be callsign; lightbar & pushbar required, slicktop permitted for sergeant or higher rank. You can attach ATVs or Bikes to your truck bed with /attach. 

Dirtbike (policebikerb)
All extras are permitted (If you are going to use the siren, make sure you have at least one forward facing emergency light). Use the unmarked livery with Dark Green, Racing Green, Sea Green, Olive Green, or Bright Green.

ATV (mountain2) (Part of LEO Pack)
All extras are permitted (If you are going to use the siren, make sure you have at least one forward facing emergency light). Any green, black, or white color. 

Boat
There is no dedicated SWC boat. If you are Marine certified, you may use your agency's boat.

Air Unit (uh1forest)
Requires Pilot/Air Unit Certification from your main agency. Pilot attire & helmet recommended. 

Uniform 

Any Duty Belt (Drop-legs only allowed within your department's policy); Boots.

Male: Shirt & Overlay 414 #7, Pants 129 #6

Female: Shirt & Overlay 217 #3, Pants 105 #2, Optional Body Armor 20 #8


Equipment: Taser, Standard Police Pistol, Baton, Flashlight, Flare Gun, Shotgun, Assault Rifle

Disclaimer: You are expected to follow the professionalism standards and guidelines that exist within your main department. You are your main LEO character when performing this overtime assignment. 

The SWC is staffed entirely by employees of other full-service law enforcement agencies who perform overtime patrol work as a SWC officer (untrained cadets/probationary members are not permitted); there is no invitation or additional application requirement. There may be a maximum of 5 SWC units on duty at any given time. 


The SWC is managed by the Board of Directors.
