Prosecutor's Office

The Prosecutor's Office reviews and oversees any and all charges filed and submitted by law enforcement officers. They may take over as the prosecutor during any criminal/traffic case, offer plea bargains, make sentencing recommendations, drop any criminal/traffic case with or without prejudice (typically for lack of evidence or a discretionary reason), counsel law enforcement officers in matters related to law or a specific case, file criminal complaints as a pseudo-law-enforcement entity, and represent the government in any legal matters.
