Our team presented a #poster and shared a presentation on the research topic “#Assessment”, highlighting work from the Lower Secondary #Science 🧬 and Computer Science 💻 departments.
As a team, we explored how we’ve been reviewing and improving our assessment practices. Each term, we met regularly to reflect on what’s working, exchange strategies, and share examples from our #classrooms.
Malika contributed insights from the Computer Science department, while I shared assessment samples and data-tracking tools from Lower Secondary Science. Together with Nurita and Reema, we created the poster during two lesson periods and break times as part of our #collaboration.
Our PLC group included Nurita, Ullas, Reema, Ankur, Liliana, Malika, and myself. Thanks also to Olivia Powell for coordinating PLC efforts across the #school 🏫

Alongside teaching, I will continue in my role as an Instructional #Coach, supporting colleagues through professional #learning, instructional improvement, and the #integration of evidence-based #teaching practices.
I will also be guiding students through the IB Biology Internal Assessment (#IA), supporting them through #research design, data collection, #analysis, #evaluation, and scientific communication. In addition, I will supervise and mentor #students undertaking the IB Extended Essay (#EE) in Biology and #interdisciplinary science-related topics where applicable. Beyond #classroom teaching, I will continue to facilitate practical #laboratory investigations and strengthen students’ scientific #research and #data analysis skills.
