This time, I had the honor of joining the event “#Rethinking Student #Engagement: Aligning #Pedagogy, #Technology, and Outcomes” as a #speaker and Kahoot! #Ambassador 🟣 The #event was organized through the collaboration of the Singapore Education Network and Kahoot! at the Huggs Coffee headquarters. I shared my experiences as an Instructional Coach and Science Teacher, reflecting on student engagement, innovative #teaching strategies, and the role of technology in learning.
It was inspiring to connect with Heads of Schools, #educators, #teachers from different #schools, #EdTech founders, and #specialists. We had many meaningful and beneficial conversations about #student engagement, how it can be improved, the gaps we still face, how #AI can support #learning, and ways to strengthen #critical thinking throughout the learning process 📝

AI in Education: Workshop Leader at Vietnam Deeper Learning Conference | Sabina Mammadova posted on the topic | LinkedInI travelled to #Vietnam 🇻🇳 for a #conference where my proposal was accepted, and I was invited as a #workshop leader. Yesterday, I facilitated a workshop at the Vietnam Deeper Learning Conference 2026 in #Hanoi, Vietnam (#Humanizing Innovation: Deep Learning in the #AI Era).
My workshop was titled “AI in Action for Higher-Order #Thinking, Active Student #Engagement, and #Ethical Learning.” I designed and proposed the workshop around three sessions:
🟡 Session 1: AI-Supported Learning for Critical and Creative #Thinking
🟡 Session 2: AI for Student #Engagement: Inquiry, Collaboration, and Interactive Classroom Experiences
🟡 Session 3: #Ethical AI Integration: Human-Centered Teaching, AI Literacy, and Responsible Use
Around 36 educators participated in the workshop. I truly enjoyed meeting and #networking with enthusiastic #educators who are eager to understand the implications of AI for #education, its benefits and limitations, its impact on student engagement and thinking processes, and how it can be integrated ethically and responsibly into teaching and learning.
In activities, when teachers begin to apply what you have shared, or start looking for ways to apply it, that is when you realize you have shared something meaningful, or at least something that has made them stop and think 🙂
I was also interviewed by their national TV channel 😃🎥
For a long time, I have been exploring #digital learning tools and their use in education, and now we are entering the era of AI. To be honest, I find this journey exciting, investigating new ideas, learning continuously, and exchanging perspectives with other educators. My goal is not to become a complete supporter of AI or someone who is entirely against it, but rather a person who tries to understand its implications thoughtfully and critically 👩🏻🏫

Focuspang AI-Powered Proctoring System for Digital and Paper Exams | Sabina Mammadova posted on the topic | LinkedInThis week, I was also invited to the X-Digital 2026 @ASEAN event in #Singapore 🇸🇬 , where I had the opportunity to meet the CEO and co-founder of the #Korean start-up 3R Innovation Inc. 🇰🇷 , Kwangsu Cho, along with his team members.
3R Innovation Inc. already collaborates with public and international #schools in #Korea, as well as with companies and organisations in other countries. It was very interesting to learn more about their work and innovative solutions.
Their product - #Focuspang, it is an #AI-powered system that can detect potential #cheating and #distractions during #studying or #exams. It can monitor #students’ head position, eye movements, and other indicators to identify unusual behaviour.
According to the information shared, the system has a lower probability of false detection and errors compared with other similar systems 🤓
I’ll be sharing some information about #Focuspang. It was really exciting to hear about Focuspang directly from the CEO of 3R Innovation and learn more about this innovative system.
#Focuspang, an #AI-powered proctoring and #assessment assistant designed for digital exams, paper-based exams, homework, and hybrid assessment workflows.
What makes Focuspang interesting is that it goes beyond simply monitoring students. Its approach combines exam security with student support.
🔹 Multimodal #evidence – Focuspang can combine signals from screen activity, app telemetry, video, audio, touch, keyboard, and stylus behaviour to build a more contextual picture of what is happening during an assessment.
🔹 Explainable #evidence – Rather than simply flagging a student, the system provides evidence with timestamps, multiple signals, confidence levels, and plain-language explanations.
🔹 #Human-in-the-loop approach – One of the key ideas is that AI doesn't accuse; humans decide. Teachers and proctors can review highlighted events instead of watching hours of continuous footage.
🔹 #Digital + paper assessments – Focuspang is designed to support both digital and paper-based exams, as well as homework, written assignments, and hybrid assessment workflows.
🔹 #Student support – The same behavioural data used to support assessment integrity can also help students reflect on their focus, behaviour, and emotional patterns during exams and develop greater self-regulation.
