In the present context of Bangladesh, most urban students of primary and secondary levels are being deprived of the time and scope they need for the development of their own mental faculties (Manan). It is mainly because of the extra burden from coaching, private tutor, unhealthy competition, etc. On the other hand, rural students cannot avail standard educational facilities. Manan guru (মনন গুরু), an instant and interactive call hunt-focused system for education may play a vital role in this regard providing a dependable platform to support the students. Students are expected to attend only regular school hours. At home, they will study themselves and in case of any difficulties, they may take support from the Manan guru. Students, having no access to phone or internet facilities, may connect with Manan guru using the facilities of UDC (Union Digital Center). In the back end, a group of subject experts (May be termed as Manan guru) will answer their queries. The student may even solve their problem themselves having in mind that the Manan guru is there to support them.
The great idea of this project is of Prof. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman who is the initiator and supervisor of this project. I was involved in this project from the beginning and contributed there in different ways, mostly by developing apps and preparing documents for different competitions.
