100 Mile Youth Theatre

The 100 Mile Youth Theatre is a theatre troupe for young people. Established in 2024, our goal is to provide a space for youth in our community to learn to express themselves through all avenues of the performing arts.

The troupe offers a vast array of roles. From acting, to design, tech, stage crew, and management. There's something for everyone, no matter where your interest lies! With hands-on experience in many aspects of performance art, the program offers both a learning experience and a fun way to pass the summer!

Theatre and performance have always been such an important aspect of my life, and that was all possible because of the amazing performing arts opportunities I received from the community and in high school. Unfortunately, there aren't as many opportunities for youth in our community to get this hands-on experience with their peers. I hope to be able to provide these opportunities to explore all aspects of the theatre industry and what goes into making a show, so that maybe kids can find a hidden passion for the arts they want to develop further (I certainly did!), or maybe just as a fun learning opportunity for the summer, and create connections and friendships with people they might not have otherwise. Whatever the case, this program will have something for everyone!
