GoGuardian

What is it?

GoGuardian is filtering and monitoring software that runs on district Chromebooks in secondary classrooms to help keep students safe when browsing.

GoGuardian Admin is done at the district level and does not require anything from teachers.

Secondary teachers have access to a second level of control called GoGuardian Teacher, which allows them to see student screens, pause student activity, direct students to specific websites, and create limited browsing scenarios.

Getting Started

Staff at each site were training in GoGuardian Teacher during the 2019-20 school year.
