Additional Training Sessions

Mandatory Training Sessions

RTU Command reserve the right to put RTU officers through an additional training session if an officer is submitted for said training by a Supervisor, member of the RTU Training Team or another member of command regarding their performance. This additional training session will be based on the concerns that were brought forward and will assist the officer in improving their area of weakness. If these issues are persistent then the officer will be liable to disciplinary action. If the officer fails to attend these sessions further disiplinary action will be taken. Requested Training Sessions

Additional Training Sessions are not limited to underperforming officers and can be requested by anyone who feels like they need one and would benefit by havingone. A training session can be organised by making a Help Desk ticket directed towards RTU Command and should contain your areas of weakness and when you’re available so the training session can be centred around your areas of weakness.
