The Social Pension Program for Indigent Senior Citizens is implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office I, through its Satellite Office in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, in close coordination with partner Local Government Units (LGUs) and the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), in accordance with DSWD Memorandum Circular No. 6, Series of 2025.

The program provides monthly financial assistance to qualified indigent senior citizens to help support their basic subsistence and health-related needs, while ensuring an orderly, transparent, and senior citizen–friendly service delivery.

The DSWD Field Office I – Satellite Office, Laoag City is committed to:

• Ensuring compliance with national policies and standards under MC No. 6, Series of 2025

• Supporting LGUs in accurate beneficiary identification and validation

• Overseeing safe, organized, and dignified payout operations

• Providing clear information, technical assistance, and responsive grievance handling.
