The Unmarked Patrol Force is a subdivision of RPU where members can patrol and pursue fully unmarked. You can wear the unmarked patrol force outfit and perform tactical contact in unmarked vehicles.
The most critical skill as an Unmarked Patrol Force officer is the ability to keep your presence unknown to criminals until it is the right time to move in and attempt at arrest. This will be extremely important during car stings and unmarked speed traps. However, if a civilian asks you if you are a police officer, you MUST respond by saying yes.

With being part of the Unmarked Patrol Force, you gain the ability to perform vehicle stings a method of catching criminals who are known for stealing vehicles 

You may also perform unmarked speed traps, this is the same as a regular speed trap, however you will not need to announce yourself to road users.
