The Roads Policing Unit (RPU) is a division of the police force focused on preventing crime on the roads of CMG. This is done using many methods, such as tactical contact and speed guns.
Members of the RPU focus on assisting members of the ERPT with scene containment whilst trained negotiators take negotiations and/or breach buildings. Once scene containment has been set up, RPU members then wait in their cars in expectation of a pursuit so that they are ready to lead the chase and give quality communications.
RPU take lead in communications where NPAS are not present during pursuit. To be a part of the RPU, you must have excellent communication. While in pursuit, you should aim to tell other officers where you are, the direction you are heading, the make, model, and colour of the vehicle you are pursuing, and the speed at which you are driving.
