In order to become Bike Trained you will need to be either:

• RPU: Junior Interceptor+

• ERPT: Advanced Officer+

Once you reach either of these ranks, you will have the ability to be Bike Trained.

As a bike trained officer, you will be able to use 2 different bikes, both of which can be acquired at Simeon’s. These 2 bikes are the Police Raptor Bike and the Police Off-Road Bike. Note that the Police Off-Road Bike is the only bike suitable for off-road conditions, as the name suggests. 

Additionally, all bike trained officers will be able to use any baller locked motorcycles that they may own.

Inappropriate usage of motorcycles can quickly lead to serious, and possibly fatal, injury. Bikes should always be treated with care and consideration for the driver, the bike, and any other people in the area. Due to this, tactical contact may never be performed on a bike, even if it has been authorized.

Bike trained officers have access to the bike trained outfit, which can be seen HERE. A helmet must be worn at all times when using a motorcycle.

When patrolling as a bike unit, always keep in mind that you must take safety and sensibility into great consideration, along with focusing on your driving and communicating ability.
