The Undergraduate Council

The Rensselaer Union Undergraduate Council is the undergraduate-specific arm of student government, focusing on overseeing and encouraging communication between the four Class Councils that represent each respective undergraduate class. The Class Councils and the Undergraduate Council each plan events for the undergraduate student population and carry out RPI traditions.

The Undergraduate Council consists of the Class President and Vice President of each Undergraduate Class as voting members, as well as Undergraduate Officers. It shall be presided over by the President of the Undergraduate Council (also known as the Undergraduate President).

The 52nd Undergraduate President for the 2024-2025 term is Paul Khoury (up@rpi.edu)

Undergraduate Council meetings are held weekly on Thursdays at 8:30pm in the Student Government Suite on the third floor of the Student Union. All undergraduates are welcome to attend.

The Arch Task Force

The Arch Task Force is a committee under the Undergraduate Council that advocates for changes to the Arch program and helps students gain better support and preparation. The Arch Task Force will begin meeting shortly.

In the meantime, if you are interested in learning more, please email Undergraduate President Ria Massoni (up@rpi.edu).
