The Undergraduate Council

The 52nd Undergraduate President for the 2024-2025 term is Paul Khoury (up@rpi.edu)

Undergraduate Council meetings are held weekly on Thursdays at 7:00pm in the RU 3202 on the third floor of the Student Union. All undergraduates are welcome to attend.

Who we are

The Rensselaer Union Undergraduate Council is the undergraduate-specific arm of student government, focusing on overseeing and encouraging communication between the four Class Councils that represent each respective undergraduate class. The Class Councils and the Undergraduate Council each plan events for the undergraduate student population and carry out RPI traditions.

The Undergraduate Council consists of the Class President and Vice President of each Undergraduate Class as voting members, as well as Undergraduate Officers. It shall be presided over by the President of the Undergraduate Council (also known as the Undergraduate President).

The Arch Task Force

The Arch Task Force is a committee under the Undergraduate Council that advocates for changes to the Arch program and helps students gain better support and preparation.

In the meantime, if you are interested in learning more, please email Undergraduate President Paul Khoury (up@rpi.edu).

listening to the student voice

We work closely with the CCPD and the Arch administration to steer the Arch in a better direction, one that truly serves students and enriches their education rather than disrupting and complicating it. In February 2025 we collected feedback from ~700 students that will directly impact the Arch experience of the next cohort of Summer Arch students.
