Hi, I’m Peter Oyefolu, a third-year PhD student in Chemical and Biological Engineering. My research focuses on affinity-based purification of adeno-associated virus (AAV) for gene therapy applications. As a graduate senator, I am passionate about advancing graduate student career development and building connections through RPI platforms, including the Alumni Association.
Beyond the Senate, I serve as President of the Black Graduate Students Association (BGSA). I have also served as BGSA Vice President (2024–2025), BGSA Representative on Graduate Council (2024–2025), and Graduate Representative of the National Society of Black Engineers (2023–2024). In my free time, I enjoy community involvement, playing the piano, and listening to audiobooks. I also run The Elite Book Readers Club, which I founded in 2022.
