The State of Rovia is a federal constitutional monarchy, based on the values of Freedom, Democracy, Justice, and Equality. Sovereignty is single and indivisible and lies with the parliament, who exercise it in the forms provided for in the Constitution. The official religion of the State is Islam and the national official language is Arabic, with Turkish and English being recognized languages.
The Monarch
The Monarch, currently the Sultan, is the head of state of Rovia. The Monarch is also the Supreme Head of the Armed Forces. The executive power is vested into the Monarch.
The Prime Minister
The Prime Minister is elected every five years.
The Prime Minister is the head of the government, and chairs and appoints the Cabinet.
Parliament
The Legislature of the State is made up of a national bicameral parliamentary system, which is headquartered in Karaz. The Legislative authority is the Crown-in-Parliament. He has three elements: The Monarch, The Consultative Assembly, and the House of Representatives. Royal Assent is needed for acts to come into effect.
The Parliament holds the legislative power. The Consultative Assembly's members are appointed by the monarch, while the House of Representatives' members are elected. For bills to become acts that qualify for Royal Assent, it must be approved by a majority of ⅔ in both houses.
