The Rotaract Club of Sycamore is a group of young professionals engaging in our local and international communities, developing professional skills, and having fun through service.
Happening Now:
Each April, the Rotaract Club of Sycamore leads a community-wide hygiene initiative supporting local students and families through the Spartan Food Pantry (Sycamore School District 427) and Barb Food Mart (DeKalb School District 428).
This year, we have evolved our approach to make giving easier and more impactful!
Rather than collecting and redistributing items ourselves, we are mobilizing the community to give directly by purchasing needed items online or donating in person at local pantry locations. This ensures that supplies donated are supplies that are needed and that they reach families faster.

The Rotaract Club of Sycamore is excited to support students and teachers in the Sycamore and DeKalb School Districts through our annual “Adopt a Classroom” project. The AaC project provides an average of ~2,000 books to students per school year!
"Adopt a Classroom" is designed to put new books into the hands of students to build lifelong reading habits. Each adopted classroom will receive one new book per student, per month from October through May.
Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Adopted Classrooms!
