Anna Wilson
Vice President
Hello! I’m Anna Wilson, Membership Manager at the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce in DeKalb, IL. Originally from central Illinois, I’m an NIU alum and have proudly called DeKalb home for the past 11 years. I’ve been active in Rotaract since 2022, when the organization joined the DeKalb Chamber. Over time, I’ve deepened my involvement, serving as a Director, Fellowship Chair, and now Vice President. My journey with Rotary began in high school with Interact at GCMS, and I was honored to receive a Rotary Scholarship to help cover some of my academic books at Parkland Community College. Being involved in a service and fellowship organization like Rotaract has helped me grow both personally and professionally. Through Rotaract, I’ve found a community of like-minded peers—young adults who want to connect with others while bettering our community.
I’m excited about the year ahead, where we’ll be adding new events, collaborating with other organizations, and engaging young adults in our community. I’m passionate about connecting people with businesses, nonprofits, and resources to help them thrive here. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you’d like assistance in connecting with the community: anna.wilson@dekalb.org.
Sarah Muse
Treasurer
My name is Sarah Muse and I’m the Treasurer of the Rotaract Club of Sycamore. In 2022, after moving to Sycamore, I joined the club hoping to meet new individuals and give back to the community. I have a long history with Rotary; in 2006 – 2007 I was a Rotary International Exchange Student in Graz, Austria. I’ve always been thankful for that opportunity, and I knew when moving to a new town that seeking out a local Rotaract Club would be a great way to continue my participation with a great organization.
I’m fortunate to work remotely in fundraising for a public interest law firm--Pacific Legal Foundation. While I’m originally from Ohio, before moving to Sycamore, I lived in the Washington, D.C. area for 10 years.
I attended Ashland University for my undergraduate degree and I have a master’s in public administration (MPA) from George Mason University, where I specialized in nonprofit management. In the fall, you can often find me watching football and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes or Green Bay Packers. I have a giant Bernese Mountain Dog, Argo, who loves going to the dog park and meeting new best friends on his walks around Sycamore.
Eric Jones
Secretary and Past President
I’ve lived in Sycamore since 2006 and been involved in Rotary International in one form or another since 2007. I’ve served on multiple Rotary Club boards including as past president of the Rotary Club of Sycamore and have been a member of the Sycamore CUSD 427 Board of Education for the last 12 years. As a financial advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, I hope to spend my time in Rotaract serving as a mentor to other young professionals and to contribute to a better community for all.

Madeline DeVito
Past President, Co-Founder
My name is Madeline DeVito, and I am proud to have served as the Rotaract Club of Sycamore's first president and a co-founder. We began the Rotaract Club of Sycamore during the summer of 2020 to bring like-minded people together to make a positive impact within our community. I couldn't be more proud of the club's growth over the last several years!
I was born and raised in Sycamore and am happy to be raising my family here as well. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University (NIU) and taught fifth grade at North Grove Elementary School in Sycamore for five years. This was my dream job and inspired our Adopt a Classroom project. After my son was born at the end of 2022, I decided to step away from my teaching job to pursue a new dream as a stay-at-home mom. I also have a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University and a Master's in English from Eastern Illinois University. I served as the President of the Turning Back Time Car Show 501(c)3 nonprofit organization for four years.
