Hi, I am a mosaic artist based in Highfields, Queensland, my vibrant and reflective works are inspired by the natural world and the people who live within it. I have a deep love for wildlife and native flowers, and am especially drawn to their uniqueness, intricate detail, and striking colour—qualities I bring to life through my expressive mosaics.

I discovered mosaics after retiring, following in the creative footsteps of my mum, who took up painting again when she retired, mum continues to paint today at 89. This later-in-life embrace of art runs through both our stories, driven by a shared passion for colour, nature, and expression.

I am inspired by the emotional landscape of a place—its energy, its people, and its history. I enjoy exploring a wide range of materials, from ceramic tile to stained glass, carefully choosing the medium that best reflects my ideas and feelings. Each piece is an attempt to honour the land, tell a story, or evoke a moment of connection.

Whether creating public art or personal works, I aim for my mosaics to invite viewers to slow down, reflect, and see the beauty in the world around them—often with a touch of light and colour that stirs the heart.
