Rosebud County Search and Rescue serves one of the largest counties in Montana, covering a wide area of rural and remote terrain. Because of this, drones may be used as a support tool to help volunteers cover large areas and assist ground teams when appropriate.
Our team traveled north for hands-on drone training to sharpen our aerial search capabilities. All photos shown were captured during the exercise using our drone platforms. It was a productive trip focused on readiness, teamwork, and real-world practice.
