Volunteer Opportunities

Serve Your Community — Volunteer with Search and Rescue

Rosebud County Search and Rescue is made up entirely of volunteers who serve when called upon by the Sheriff’s Department. Volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and contribute in many different ways.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Search and rescue operations

• Training and preparedness activities

• Equipment maintenance and logistics support

• Administrative or organizational assistance

No prior SAR experience is required. Training is provided.

What We Ask of Volunteers

• Commitment to training and readiness

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Willingness to serve when activated
