Rosebud County Search and Rescue is made up entirely of volunteers who serve when called upon by the Sheriff’s Department. Volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds and contribute in many different ways.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
Search and rescue operations
Training and preparedness activities
Equipment maintenance and logistics support
Administrative or organizational assistance
No prior SAR experience is required. Training is provided.
Commitment to training and readiness
Ability to work as part of a team
Willingness to serve when activated
