Roscoe Cub Scout Pack 6202 Newsletter

Welcome new Families! Welcome back current Cub Scout Families! Are your young boys and girls excited to hike and camp and hang out with their friends after school!? If you like to hike, we have a Geocaching event and Kieselburg Forest Preserve (Swanson Road), on Tuesday, August 30. "Sign-Up Night!" is coming up Wednesday, Sept 7 at Ledgewood School in the gymnasium, for the new families interested in hearing what the program is about and for families that want to continue in the program. We'll review what we have going on for this program year. Several pack leaders will be at the event and introduce themselves and their relationship to the Cub Scouts programs. If you're interested in joining this family and fun oriented youth program, we'll have registration forms available to sign up the same night. Please reach out to the Den Leaders if you have any further questions. Welcome everyone to Pack 6202!

Please visit our Facebook page for even more details on current events.

This year we have a lot of good events for the Scouts to participate in. Please take a moment to review the Pack Calendar for the 2022-2023 program year to see what's in store.

Do Your Best!

The Outdoor Code

As an American, I will do my best to -

Be clean in my outdoor manners

Be careful with fire

Be considerate in the outdoors, and

Be conservation-minded.

Pack Vespers

(To the Christmas tune: O Christmas Tree)

As the night comes to this land,

On my promise I will stand,

I will help the Pack to go,

As our Pack helps me to grow.

Yes, I’ll always give goodwill,

I’ll follow my Akela still,

And before I stop to rest,

I will do my very best.
