Hiking Club

Welcome Hikers! Want to explore nature in your neighborhood? The Roscoe / Rockton and the neighboring greater Rockford area has many parks and recreational fields and forests that allow Pack 6202 Scouts to get outside and rediscover nature. In the process of getting exercise and fresh air, Scouts have the opportunity to learn about various topics as it relates to hiking, camping, and outdoor stewardship. Scouts are awarded for each hike they participate at and for those Scouts that complete 25 miles of total, cumulative hiking distance, they are then honored with a ceremony and awarded for their achievements!
