What is Cub Scouts?
If you were to perform a search online for this question, you’ll find 100’s of good responses. A lot are generic and copies of each other and there's a good reason for that. Because, why reinvent a really good wheel. Cub Scouts is a family program where kids and their parents work together to make their lives more enriching.
Here at Pack 6202 we adhere to the guidelines established over 100 years ago and that have been matured over the past century. Each pack makes it the best they can by confirming to the Scout Motto, which is to “Do Your Best!” We have a few, dedicated volunteer parents that want to see their kids grow up to be model citizens that everyone (kids, teens, adults, friends, family, professionals, and more) look up to and admire. The kids and parents get to learn and participate in fun activities. They even cover serious topics so that they’re better prepared to understand and know how to traverse the world around them.
The following document provides various pieces of information that can be used by everyone and is categorized to make access easier to find the specific resources you’re looking for. Read as much or as little as you like. It’s all here, for free, to support you and your family in making this fun, important, exciting, admirable choice together.

Pack Committee
The pack committee consists of all the same volunteers you see during the pack and den meetings as well as a few more volunteers. The pack committee meets monthly to review the current progress everyone is making, at the pack and den levels, and to ensure we get all questions asked and answered. Every parent of a scout is considered a committee member whether they’re active or not. Every parent has a say in how their own child experiences the program and those parents that chose to participate also have the ability to help mold the pack into something they help contribute to and steer in a direction they feel comfortable with. No matter each parent’s participation level, every parent is encouraged to attend a couple committee meetings to see what is discussed, ask any questions, and learn more about the program as a whole. Everyone is treated like family. The meetings are very informal and laid back and we try to make things as simple as possible. Don’t be shy. You’re welcome all the time.
