Have you reviewed the Forms page yet? You may find the signup form you're looking for there. You can reach out to your Scout's Den Leader or talk to any leader at the pack meeting events and they should be able to provide this information. If you still need assistance, please reach out by using the Contact Us form and someone will help direct you in the right place.

Should I register for an event on my own through the event site's own registration?

No. Most events should be registered as the pack so that we can ensure that the right information is provided to the event coordinators. Depending on the event, there are deadlines for registration with the option to pay on the day of, however this costs more and you're not always able to participate in the events you have in mind.

You should receive information and access to forms, provided by Pack 6202, when signing up for a particular event. We collect all the info from each family and using that we sign the pack up as a whole. You can always contact your Den Leader for more information on a particular event.

Most events Pack 6202 participates at are conducted by either the Glaciers Edge Council (Madison, WI; Our parent Council) or by the Blackhawk Area Council (Rockford Council). You can visit either site to read up on their specific event criteria.

PayPal: What's the difference between friends and family or goods and services payments?

You can send money to friends and family or pay for goods and services by clicking Tools at the top of the PayPal page, then Send money.

If you’re sending a personal payment, payment types include:

  • Send to friends and family- used when sending money to a friend or family member. Please use this option when sending money to Pack 6202.

  • Pay for goods or services - Use this payment type when buying an item or service from someone. When you make a purchase, the seller pays a small fee to receive your money.

You can make a personal payment to anyone in the U.S. for free. Just make sure that you pay for the entire payment using your PayPal balance or bank account. There's a small charge for payments made with a debit or credit card.

What do I need to buy from the Scout Shop?

Parents only need to purchase the uniform components. See the Uniform Requirements page for details. If the pack has enough funds, there are times the neckerchief is purchased for the Scouts. Please inquire about neckerchiefs before you decide to purchase one, to see if you can get one for your Scout. Parents should not purchase any awards as the Pack purchases these for all Scouts.

How are awards awarded?

There are many awards the Pack provides to your scout. Once your scout achieves the requirement, the Pack Achievement Chair person will go to the Scout Shop and purchase all the loops and specific badges for the scouts. Loops and some badges will then be provided to your scout's Den Leaders for their disbursement at your Den meetings. Ranking badges, those that are awarded when your scout advances in rank (i.e. Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, etc..) will be awarded at a pack meeting on a prescribed date.
