Since I started my academic journey in 2016, I have participated in several national and international research projects, which have granted me the opportunity to publish my research in different formats (peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, conference presentations, proceedings...) and also in different languages, mainly English and Spanish.
In a nutshell, my research interests can be classified into three groups:
How is the Internet and Open Science policies shaping communication practices among researchers?
Currently, I carry out genre analysis of parascientific genres on micro-blogging platforms (Twitter/X, Tumblr) and citizen science projects that promote science communication with the lay public
How do scholars become members in global academia?
I have explored how non-native English scholars deal with academic writing and literacy development in several book chapters and papers
How do universities use English and local languages to promote their international dimensions?
Issues related to EMI, language policy, and linguistic diversity were explored in my PhD thesis and related publications.
From a quantitative point of view, my research outcomes are:
Papers: 10 (+ 1 accepted)
Book chapters: 3
Edited volumes: 1 (co-edited and in process)
Technical reports: 1
Book reviews: 3
Conference presentations: 33
Research projects: 5
