2ND SEMESTER 2022-23
May 2023. It's been a blast going back to teach English for Finance and English for Marketing, I am always learning from my students. And it's been very interesting starting an Erasmus+ Teaching collaboration. A bit challenging to move exams to May and June, but enjoying the countryside views always makes it more pleasant ;)
April 2023. Our team members María José Luzón, Rosana Villares, and Marian Velilla presented their current work on digital genres at the 40th AESLA.

January 2023. From 25-27, January the annual BIFI conference took place. Thought as a space to share innovation and ongoing research, the Digital Science Lab group introduced themselves in front of an interdisciplinary audience. With presentations by its PI and members, and posters by its PhD candidates, we shared our main findings and research interests concerning digital STEM science communication.
December 2022. December brings some important updates! Final days of teaching Business English at the faculty before the Jan exams, dissertation vivas, exciting meetings, new projects, and 2 publications! (a book review and my latest article in the journal Language Value!).
I think it's time for a well-deserved vacation period. See you all in 2023!!!
November 2022. Sunday 20th November, some members of the GENCI group and BIFI institute will participate in a race organised by the University of Zaragoza to raise awareness about science and knowledge. We hope to have fun during the event and meet lots of new people there! Come and join us for this good cause!

October 2022. I was part of the invited sessions organised by Rosa Becker (Maastricht University) entitled "Institutional language policies: aims, approaches and challenges" at the 7th ICLHE Conference.
September 2022. I had the opportunity of visiting beautiful Santiago de Compostela to present some of my recent findings at the 9th Conference on Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) and Social Media Corpora (presentation title: An exploratory multimodal discourse analysis of Twitter conference presentations). Plus, I can finally say I've done part of the "Camino de Santiago"!
June 2022. The last presentation before the summer break is a collaboration with my colleague Oana Carciu. In this presentation, we report the implementation of an innovation teaching project addressing SDGs and Citizen Science. (HEaD Conference 2022, 14-17 June 2022, Valencia).
DOCTORAL GRADUATION
May 2022. After almost two years of defending my doctoral dissertation, today, 27 May, the university of Zaragoza has celebrated the graduation ceremony of the new doctors from the 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 years. It has been a memorable act that I will always treasure.

April 2022. Last Thursday, 28th April, I had the opportunity to present part of my new current research project at the 39th AESLA Conference in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In this way, I continue talking about researchers' dissemination strategies of scientific knowledge on Twitter.
April 2022. At the 7th Spring Research Seminar organised by the UIC, Institute of Multilingualism, I presented a research poster talking about the EMI experience for content teachers (tasks, competences, and cognitive demands), developed in the English group of the Business Administration degree at the University of Zaragoza. #ResearchUIC
