Click the link below to go to Goblin Tools' teacher landing page and select "Communication Generator." Copy and paste the sentence frame below into the box that says "To start, describe what you want to say." Fill in the blanks with the information that is specific to your situation, then choose "Positive Achievement." Feel free to include additional details you may feel necessary. Indicate if the recipient has any accessibility needs, then click "Generate Positive Achievement."
On the right side of the screen, you will see the newly generated message, which, after proofreading and customization, can be sent to parents to celebrate the student's progress.
Sentence Frame:
I want to tell a parent that their child, [INSERT STUDENT NAME], has been working very hard on [INSERT SCHOOL CONTENT] this week. I am proud of the work they have been putting in at home. Encourage the parent to continue working with their child at home. [INSERT ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL INFORMATION]
On your Module Reflection Guide, write down your thoughts about using this tool. Would you use Goblin Tools AI to help you craft a message to a parent?
Also, write down if you remembered to focus on the process of learning, rather than the child's intelligence. How will you apply this in your classroom?
