In my research, I explore the nature of cognitive processes underlying comprehension in bilinguals and adult learners of a new language. In a more general sense, I am interested in learning and the factors that influence learning outcomes in language and other fields. To reach my aims, I employ different methods from cognitive neuroscience, such as event-related potentials (ERPs) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
