Hello Neighbors,
We wanted to take a moment to inform you about the purpose of our board for our private road (Romaldo Road). As a community, it is essential that we maintain and improve our road to ensure it remains safe for everyone and can be readily accessed by emergency vehicles.
The main responsibilities of our board include:
1. Enacting CA845: This is a key civil code that governs private roads in California. We ensure all actions comply with these regulations (see below for description)
2. Administering Payments to Contractors: We handle the financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to the contractors who work on our road.
3. Collecting Funds: To fund repairs and ongoing maintenance, we collect contributions from all homeowners. Your timely payments are crucial for the upkeep of our road.
4. Accounting for Funds: Transparency is important to us. We meticulously account for all funds received and disbursed and provide regular financial updates to the community.
5. Gathering Bids and Project Management: We solicit bids from contractors and negotiate the best possible prices and high-quality services to ensure we get the best value for our money. Additionally, we manage these projects to completion, ensuring high standards and timely execution.
Your cooperation and support are vital to the success of our efforts. If you have any questions or want more information, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you for being a part of our community and for helping us keep our road in great shape!
