'Come have a talk'
To provide a judgment-free, safe space for people going through mental health crisis
CHAT in action
We have several stalls in various locations within Wythenshawe. This helps spread the word about our service and increases our visibility so people know who and where we are. We also provide our 1 to 1 support sessions at these stalls, which people can book on or walk-in.
We run weekly events at the Village 135 to help build trust within the community. This is important so residents know that we are there for them and have their best interests in mind.
We run monthly workshops aimed at increasing mental health resilience. This is open to the public for anyone to join! We do this to help equip residents with the necessary tools and resources. Not only are we providing immediate support, we are proactively strengthening the community capacity to cope with life's challenges.
Engaging in events and networking is crucial to our activities. This allows us to reach more people in needs via referral pathways, and to help stay connected within the community network. This ensures that ROC CHAT can work together with pre-existing companies and communities to best provide support to residents.
