Ageing Well

CHAT had a stall at the Ageing Well event!

We garnered a lot of interest, with a few people having heard of us or already using our services. We also gained some good feedback on how to make the stall more inclusive in terms of information sharing and handouts. This includes additional items such as activity leaflets and bigger fonts, considering groups that may not want to or know how to use QR codes. This is important to consider as we move towards sustainability and digital materials that we do not unintentionally exclude certain groups of people.

We also went around the stalls and gathered information about local activities, all of which we will put into our AI social prescribing bot! A lot is going on locally in Wythenshawe, and everyone agreed on the importance of staying connected as organisations to best support locals.

 Additionally, ROC has a Wythenshawe Whatsapp chat which allows local organisations and groups to share events and activities, raising awareness of local events in a modern, simplistic way.
