Plumbed for washing machine with space for fridge freezer and another standard size appliance. In the utility area the modern electricity distribution panel installed by a qualified French electrician has all the cut outs and safety protection required. It also controls the two mechanical ventilation units positioned at each end of the building and the two hot water tanks. Due to the length of the building we positioned a tank at each end to avoid long waits for the hot water to arrive. This enables the building to be used by a couple with only the en-suite and kitchen supplied with hot water or by a family with both tanks in use. Alongside the electricity distribution panel is the control box for the underfloor heating and energy use allowing the heating to be set to efficiently use more economical cheap rate electricity. Another distribution panel is ready to receive and distribute antenna or satellite signals for which all rooms are cabled.
From the utility area a door leads back into the lounge.

The dressed stone door surrounds and stone arches compliment the beams and exposed stone infill around the arches. The dressed stones are from a local quarry and have many interesting fossil shells embedded in them.
