Do not pick up Dash from its head.

Pair up.
Make sure you have a lot of space on the floor.
Get a Dash robot.
Open the Blockly app.
Create a profile.
Tips
Make sure students are using the same iPad when using the Blockly app. This video explains how to create profiles.
Challenge 1
Turn on Dash from the button on its side.
Click on Puzzles
Choose Dash
Complete the first puzzle (12 steps) called Driving School
Observe its actions.
Challenge 2: Represent the main events of a story using Dash
Go back to the main menu and select Create New.
Create a Blank project
Read the story The Little Red Riding Hood.
Use the story map to identify the main events of the story.
Use the images to create a path to represent the events.
Program Dash according to these criteria, it needs:
to follow the path;
to display two emotions;
to move its head at least once;
to transmit an audio message (record your voice).
Present your coding project to the workshop leader or film your production as you retell the story.

Continue the puzzles to continue exploring other functions of Dash.
Give challenges to your partner.
Explore the other projects using the Create New menu.
