Joining first

Joining FIRST is a straightforward process. To get started, visit the official FIRST website, create an account, and search for existing teams in your area. If no team is available, you can collaborate with your school or community to establish a new one by contacting your local FIRST representative to initiate the registration process. Participation is open to all students, regardless of prior experience in STEM.

FIRST is a large, growing organization that conducts in 55 countries, and had 3 competitions, First Lego League, First Tech Challenge, and First Robotics Challenge. We are a team in FTC and we operate out of a facilty called Queen City Robotics Alliance in Charlotte, NC.

Gracious Professionalism is at the heart of what we do at FIRST. It's about striving for excellence while also valuing and respecting others. It shows that you can be highly competitive while still working together for everyone' benefit. We see this in how we collaborate as teammates, making sure everyone has the chance to share their ideas and try out new things.
