GearHeads San Antonio - UIW


GearHeads San Antonio for High School provides students in the greater San Antonio area with an opportunity to experience STEM in a college environment and to meet and work with university faculty. Not only will all students  participate in morning labs in four major STEM fields, they will have the opportunity to participate in an afternoon research project relevant to real-world research, such as wind power engineering, human body biochemistry, robotics, and more.

Transformational Leadership Academy - TAMUSA


The Transformational Leadership Academy (TLA) program hosted by Texas A&M University-San Antonio is a FREE five-night summer residential experience for 35 current high school sophomores and juniors. Students will have a chance to sit in on leadership and entrepreneurship classes, where they will study real-life scenarios and business practices. The program's culmination includes students delivering a business pitch that local business partners will judge. Overall, the program exposes students and their families to a collegiate environment and increases their college knowledge as they prepare to begin their college application process.

Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) - UIW


The GEMS Summer Program in San Antonio provides students who are going into 6th through 12th grades the opportunity to learn more about U.S. Army medical science and STEM. Programs are free of charge. If you enjoy hands-on activities and want to learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects and careers, apply to GEMS in San Antonio!

Texas State Theatre Camp


The Texas State Theatre Summer Camp is a two-week residential camp designed for high school age students interested in pursuing theatre as a part of their higher education. Students will participate in masterclasses taught by our faculty and guest instructors; collegiate audition and branding workshops; as well as a multitude of performance and design opportunities over the course of two weeks.

Texas State Athletic Training Summer Camp


Open to any students entering freshman year in high school through freshman year in college interested in athletic training and/or Texas State University. Provides students the opportunity to learn athletic training and emergency care skills from the athletic training faculty and staff at Texas State University.
