FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a form completed by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid.

TAFSA

The Texas Application for State Financial Aid is a free application that collects information to help determine eligibility for state (or institutional) financial aid programs administered by institutions of higher education in the state of Texas.

Students that are classified as a Texas Resident who cannot apply for federal financial aid using the FAFSA are encouraged to complete the TASFA.

2024-2025 TASFA will open in December 2023

Use the 2024-25 TASFA Form to apply for aid for 

July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025.
