Psychosocial Clinic: Crafts with clients from Ability Inclusion Services
During our lab time, we led and assisted with a clinic for client from Ability Inclusion Services (AIS), in which we did crafts as a way to help them learn socialization and other skills. I assisted with the psychosocial clinic on October 1, 8, 15, and November 19. My classmate, Ashton, and I led a service project on November 5. I had a lot of fun getting to know the clients, and I learned a lot from the experience. Leading groups is difficult, but I learned a lot about how to plan, organize, and execute a therapeutic craft group.
