I work primarily with children and teens who are navigating challenges that can affect their emotions, relationships, school, and everyday lives. I support young people and families through concerns such as:
Anxiety, worry, and stress
Trauma and difficult or overwhelming experiences
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Emotional regulation and managing big feelings
Depression and mood-related concerns
School challenges and academic stress
Family conflict and relationship difficulties
Grief and loss
Self-esteem and confidence
Coping with life changes and difficult circumstances
Behavioral and impulse-control challenges
Supporting parents and caregivers through challenges
Therapy with kids and teens shouldn't feel like sitting in a room being told what to do.
I use a warm, flexible, and individualized approach that combines conversation with practical strategies, creativity, play, activities, and problem-solving. Depending on the child's age and needs, therapy may include elements of CBT, person-centered therapy, psychodynamic approaches, play- and art-based techniques, and executive functioning support.
My goal is to help kids and teens better understand themselves, build skills that actually work in their everyday lives, and feel more confident handling challenges—while also helping parents better understand how to support them.
