As I approached two years of living in this community, I’ve noticed something stirring in my heart — a longing to feel more connected to the people here. I was praying about that feeling, asking God to show me how to truly become part of this place. The answer became clear: I needed to give back to my amazing community.
That’s how Project Give Back began to take shape.
My husband serves in the military, and in the past, I’ve led bodywork and movement workshops for his units in different locations. Those experiences showed me just how powerful this work can be for people who dedicate their lives to serving others.
Now, here in our Hendersonville, NC community, I’m reaching out to local police departments, fire stations, and other service organizations to offer short neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) sessions.
In time, I hope to expand this outreach to include teachers, childcare workers, nurses, church staff, shelter employees, and city departments — anyone who devotes their time and energy to caring for others and keeping our community strong.
Many of these individuals carry physical pain, tension, and stress that often go untreated. Even a 15–20 minute NKT session can make a difference — sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. The goal isn’t just physical relief; it’s helping people who have been living under that constant cloud of pain to feel lighter, freer, and more themselves again.
Project Give Back is my way of sowing seeds of care into the very community I’m blessed to live in — to support those who support everyone else.
Project Give Back are free, 2 hour neurokinetic therapy sessions given to the community. I will need a place for my table, a chair, participates, and that's it! Sessions will be booked on either a Monday or Wednesday morning (10am-12pm). If you feel like this is something your community team could use, contact me at 512-888-3280 or amberlyjayde@gmail.com
