Project Description: I was tasked to research two different countries with a classmate and compare and contrast general data; specifically technical facts. Furthermore, we were tasked with creating a Word document with sources and a PowerPoint presentation highlighting differences and similarities between the two countries. See our PowerPoint HERE.
Ireland's Population by Age
The highest population age group for Ireland is between 25-44 years.
Italy's Population by Age
The highest population age group for Italy is about 48.5 (2025).
Interesting Fact I Learned:One fact that I learned was that Ireland has an average lower age than Italy; this may have an impact on technology usage and digital literacy between the two countries.
Lessons Learned:Overall, I learned that most of the world has access to basic internet; whether it be Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection if you're in a modernized city such as Dublin or Rome. More so, I learned that there are people in the world who still do not have access to basic internet; such as elderly, low-income or rural populations.
