The reason for this assignment was to build your own computer and add all of the necessary components. We were able to have fun with this. I decided to build a gaming computer and keep it at a budget I was comfortable with.
This assignment also challenged us to use headings, organization, and correct formatting.

Lessons learned: After building this computer I learned a few things. I never knew how expensive it would be to separately purchase all the parts needed for a high-performance gaming machine. I have always purchased laptops that come with all the parts you need. The CPU I chose is a newer model, and the same price as the i9-13900k capable of integrated graphics, with a peak boost clock speed of 6 Ghz, so it has a faster run time. The PSU has output of 1,000 W, the build only requires 602 W, this provides capabilities of adding different specs and not having to upgrade the PSU. I also learned how many different types and brands there are of computer essentials. I always assumed computers came with a CPU cooler, and when building a computer that is not always the case. The CPU cooler I chose is run by a liquid through a constant loop to not overheat the CPU. The liquid cooling system allows the CPU to operate at a higher function without causing damage. When it comes to Microsoft Word, I have never used headings in a way to organize the information you are adding to a document, it really does give your writing a nice, organized look and an easier way for your audience to navigate it. I probably should not have waited until the day before this project was due to submit it, but I wanted to make sure I chose the right parts for this gaming computer with a budget that I would be comfortable with. Overall, this was a fun project!
