FAQs

RHAM Athletics Registration

Frequently Asked Question

Q. My physical is expired and I don't have an appointment until after tryouts. Will I still be eligible?

A. No, a physical for athletic participation expires exactly after 13 months. There are no exceptions. What you can do is try to get a sports physical at a walk-in clinic or pharmacy where you normally do not need an appointment.

Q. Do I need to submit a copy of my physical if I played on a team last year?

A. You do not need to submit another copy of your physical if it is still valid. Physicals are valid for the period of 13 months. If your physical expires while you are in season or before you participate in a season, you will need to provide a copy of your updated physical in order to participate.

Q. Do I have to upload my physical on FamilyID?

A. No, uploading your physical to FamilyID is just another option of how to submit your physical. It is not required. You may also submit physicals to the Athletic Director or School Nurse.

Q. Can I register for two sports in case I get cut from my first choice?

A. No, you must select one sport. If you change your mind prior to tryouts, stop by or call the Athletic Department and request the change. If you are cut from a team and wish to pursue participation with another team, you must contact the Athletic Department. If space allows in the other program, you might be able to switch. Please understand that if try-outs are underway and/or completed in the other program, you may not be permitted to switch.
