ImPACT Testing
RHAM utilizes a computer-based neurocognitive assessment, called ImPACT, administered online in a controlled environment. ImPACT has two components - baseline testing and post-injury testing - which are used in conjunction with other assessment tools to determine if an athlete can safely return to sport following provides a head injury. In order to provide RHAM student-athletes with the best possible care and prevention of multiple concussions and second impact injury all athletes will be required to take ImPACT testing.
- These expire every two years. If you do not have an up to date concussion baseline test, you will not be able to participate. Upon registering on FamilyID, you will be able to check the expiration status. If no information is listed, email daniel.trudeau@rhamschools.org to notify.
- If your test is expired you may retake it at home by following the instructions provided in the appropriate link below.
