Olney Community Collaborative

Located in Upper-North Philadelphia, at the terminus of the Broad Street subway line, the Olney + Fern Rock neighborhoods feature strong transit access, lively businesses, high homeownership rates, and several important parks and public gathering spaces. THe community has always been a melting pot, with waves of new Americans settling and then moving on, and remains incredibly diverse with almost a quarter of residents speaking a language other than English. Residents hail from all over the world: the Caribbean, African, South and Central America, the Middle East, and Asia are all represented in the businesses, food, languages and cultures of the neighborhoods, making this one of the most diverse areas in all of Pennsylvania.
