Growing up I had always wanted to be in the medical field, just always had an interest in it. I grew up helping others and enjoyed the warmth it would give me each time I did so. I would tell my parents, my teachers, and friends that I'd want to be a doctor "so I can help people like grandpa and grandma". My grandpa was a doctor and my grandmother was a nurse. However, as I grew older, my interest shifted to nursing, and I found Dominican to be the perfect fit for me.
On my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar, exercising, playing basketball, spending time with my family and friends, annoying my little brother, and occasionally art. Moving to college has allowed me to grow into the ideal version of myself and I've learned so much about who I wish to become. The independence my college experience has offered me has pushed me to break out of my shell and begin living a life I never thought I'd be able to.
I am currently in the BS Nursing Program at Dominican University of California in pursuit of my Registered Nurse (RN) License.
