Whether you hope to grow your own vegetables, herbs, or cut flower garden, Amanda Slover of Aurora Seed Farm can guide you through the planning and design of a healthy, prolific garden. Class attendants will leave with a garden design and knowledge of companion planting.

You will learn which types of culinary mushrooms grow well indoors, substrates, pasteurization, and contamination. Learn the growth cycle: culture/ spores-> spawn ->fruiting blocks. We will discuss incubation and fruiting environments, harvesting, and storing mushrooms so that you can grow your own.
