Dear Conference Participant,
Thanks very much for your interest in the 2022 Florida Finance Conference, October 7, 2022.
The event is hosted and sponsored by the College of Business, Florida Atlantic University .
The Florida Finance Conference is for PhD students to present their work and obtain high quality feedback from faculty and fellow students. The schedule follows below.
The keynote speaker - Baolian Wang - will present on October 7, 1-2:30pm.
The schedule below is tentative as at September 13, 2022.

Conference Format
The conference has one track. The presentations are open to registered participants (not open to the public generally). Presentations follow the following format: 20 minutes per author presentation, 15 minutes for the discussant, and 10 minutes for open discussion.
Note: As at September 13, 2022, there is still room for discussants. You may email David Jay and Sofia Johan if you see a paper that does not yet have a discussant that you would like to discuss.

Pengfei Sui, and Baolian Wang, Stakes and Investor Behavior
Professor Baolian Wang is currently the Bank of America associate professor of finance at the University of Florida. His research areas are empirical asset pricing, behavioral finance, investor behavior, FinTech, and the Chinese economy. His research has been published in leading academic journals, including Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Review of Finance, Critical Finance Review, and Strategic Management Journal. Prior to joining UF, he was an assistant professor at Fordham University from 2014 to 2018. Professor Wang received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University before receiving his Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
