SimplerSport

SimplerSport is the tool we use for keeping track of players' availability for practices and matches.

Keeping your SimplerSport up to date is MANDATORY for all players!

Google Groups (Email list-serv)

We use google groups to maintain two email list-servs:

DC Revolution Rugby Active Players: This is the main list-serv that club leadership uses to communicate with all players. We use this for official communication, such as messages from our coaches and captains and board updates. We also use it to send time-sensitive information, like practice cancellations. If you need to be added to this group, click here and select "request to join." (You don't need to enter a reason.)

DC Revolution Rugby Rookies: This group is just for our rookies! The Personnel Chair uses this group to communicate important information to people who have joined the club in the past season. If you need to be added to this list (or you're not sure), email Kelly at personnel@dcrevolution.com

GroupMe

We have several main groupme chats that everyone is encouraged to join. The General Chat is our main informal group, and Announcements is where leadership shares important/time sensitive stuff. Our Groupme chats are informal and optional. You can join both by clicking on the following links:

There are also a number of smaller groups created for specific conversation topics. For example, there's a group for people who love running, and one for people participating in the fitness competition. If a group of people are traveling for a certain tournament or match, we'll often create a groupme just for that. Anyone can create a new chat for a specific topic. You can either add people manually, or go to "settings > share group" to get an invite link like the ones above.

Joining Groupme is encouraged but not required. Important and time-sensitive information will be shared via email as well as groupme.
