Guide to SimplerSport
WHAT IS SIMPLERSPORT?
SimplerSport is the platform we use for scheduling and tracking availability for practices, matches, and other events. SimplerSport attendance numbers are used for practice planning and match rostering.
It's incredibly important to keep your SimplerSport availability up to date!
HOW TO USE SIMPLERSPORT
(If you're new to the team, we need to set up an account for you as a player in SimplerSport before you can log in. Email personnel@dcrevolution.com if you need help.)
Every match and practice has its own page in Simplersport. This is where you'll find time and location, as well as other useful info (like parking tips!)
It's also where you mark your availability. All events display "You Haven't Replied" by default. If you click that, it turns green and reads "You Are Going." Clicking it again will set your availability to Maybe Attending, and then to Not Attending.

SimplerSport Policy for Matches
Please mark your availability for all matches through the remainder of the season. If you aren't sure if you're able to play in a match, mark yourself as a "maybe" and use the "note" field to provide any info that could help coaches & captains with advanced roster planning, such as whether this is injury-related or when you expect to know for sure if you can attend.
Availability MUST be in SimplerSport by 9PM on Monday before a match!!!
Coaches print out the roster on Monday night, and won’t see any availability changes that are made after that. If you are a “maybe” after Monday, you must talk to Coach Kelsey directly ASAP.
SimplerSport Policy for Practices
Update SimplerSport early and often! Unfortunately there's no way to update your availability for multiple events at once, so we recommend marking availability as far ahead in the future as possible. If your availability changes, please make sure to update SimplerSport as soon as possible.
Keeping your availability up-to-date in SimplerSport shows respect for the time and energy our coaches and captains put into planning thoughtful and productive practices. Please do it!
